About TelecomAdvisor

TelecomAdvisor publishes decision pages for telecom buying guides: which one to buy, for which buyer, and on what evidence. Published facts have named sources and reading dates; our comparisons and calculations explain what those facts can support.

Who this is for

Someone about to spend money on telecom buying guides who has narrowed the field to a few candidates and needs the difference between them stated plainly — including when there is no meaningful difference, which we say rather than manufacturing a winner.

How a recommendation is produced

We compare qualified evidence against the buyer’s stated needs. A requirement can exclude a product only when the relevant fact is known; a preference can separate products only when the values are comparable and the buyer has stated which direction matters. Missing or older evidence is not a disadvantage assigned to a product. When the evidence cannot establish a useful difference, we keep the tie or say what remains unknown instead of inventing a winner.

How evidence is handled

Product facts are attributed to their sources. Retained readings let us investigate a disputed figure after its source changes; they are not a public archive or a guarantee that the figure still applies today. Missing evidence stays explicit rather than being replaced by a guess. How we check what we publish sets out the whole chain.
