What this site does
TelecomAdvisor publishes decision pages that help visitors compare telecom buying guides. The site uses product data, decision context, page performance data, and interaction events to operate recommendations and improve the buying flow.
The recommendations are informational. They are not legal, financial, security, or procurement advice.
Information we process
We may process technical information such as page URL, referrer, device and browser signals, approximate request metadata, click events, consent state, and fraud-prevention data.
When you use the compare tool, we may process your selected category, use case, team size, goal, constraints, free-text context, recommendation result, and CTA interactions.
Recommendation packets and optional email
Some decision assistants can create a recommendation packet from your answers. The packet may include the page slug, vertical, selected answers, recommended product, confidence score, comparison link, consent state, and related interaction events.
If you choose to receive the packet by email, we store the email address with that recommendation context so the request can be measured and handled. The email field is optional, and partner recommendation consent is separate from receiving your own packet.
Partner recommendation opt-in is not preselected. We only record it when you actively select it, and it does not by itself mean your data has already been sent to a partner.
AI-assisted features
Most compare recommendations are produced by deterministic matching. If you enter a longer free-text note, the site may use an AI provider to clarify intent and improve the explanation.
The AI path is limited, cached when possible, and falls back to non-AI matching when the monthly limit is reached or the provider is unavailable.
Analytics and consent
Optional analytics run only after consent through the cookie banner. Consent can be changed through the cookie panel linked from the cookie policy.
Operational events needed for security, abuse prevention, affiliate attribution, and basic site reliability may be processed separately from optional analytics.
Retention and contact
Operational logs and aggregated performance data are kept only as long as needed to run the service, debug issues, measure page quality, and protect the site.
